Call for Proposals for Conference Speakers

As we prepare the program for the 2023 conference, the SPL Conference Planning Committee is announcing a call for proposals. We are looking for presentations and activities that will provide new perspectives and unique insights into the leadership work that our members do. This year, we are focusing on the challenges in leading across a variety of contexts. These contexts can include occupations, communities with unique histories, at different points in our lifespans, and in various levels of ambiguity and crisis. If you know of someone (including yourself) who you believe would be a good fit for this topic, please submit a proposed title, abstract, and short bio(s) for speaker(s) to SPL President-Elect and Conference chair [email protected] by October 1st, 2022. For nominations, the committee will follow up with the nominator and speaker as we work to build the conference program in the coming months.

Call for Proposals for Sponsors

If you know of an organization that would be a good sponsor for our conference, please let us know who they are and why they might be a good fit for the conference. Reach out to [email protected].

Look out for more information in the coming months as we secure speakers and reserve other events around the conference including tours of the Greenwood District and of Tulsa’s Art Deco Architecture.
