Board of Directors President Dr. Chamarlyn Fairley currently serves as a Senior Organization Development Psychologist at the National Center for Organizational Development (NCOD) at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a consultant her goals are aimed at improving the engagement and effectiveness of executive leadership teams throughout VA, who in turn drive the engagement of employees within their facility/organization thus increasing the positive impace of VA services to Veterans. In the role of Consultant, Dr. Fairley serves as a Consultant to Executive Leadership Teams in the VA, as they focus on team dynamis, individual leadership goals, and leading their varied organizations. Prior to coming to NCOD, Dr. Fairley served as the Assistant Director of Mental Health at the WJB Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center in Columbia, SC. Dr. Fairley also served in other leadership roles while at Dorn VAMC including, Program Manager for Mental Health, Military Sexual Trauma Coordinator and as an establishing member of Psychology Internship Program. Dr. Fairley’s professional interests have been focused in the areas of Trauma Focused Therapy, Leadership Development, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology, Dr. Wayde brings a diverse background from both public and private sectors. His career includes serving as Director of Data Management and Evaluation, Innovation Technology Advancement Lab, and Change Management Coordination at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In these roles, he helped implement the new Electronic Health Record (EHR) at the VA and provided coaching to executive leaders in Veterans Affairs healthcare organizations nationwide. As a Prosci-trained Change Management practitioner and trainer, Dr. Wayde has firsthand experience leading broad-scale change initiatives. He holds a doctorate in clinical and cognitive psychology, a master's degree in Information Systems, and certifications in Artificial Intelligence, including a certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Dr. Wayde also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin.
Past President Brenda Huber, PhD, ABPP, transitioned from her position as Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center and Executive Director of Rush NeuroBehavioral Center in spring 2022 to build a portfolio career under her umbrella business, Doc B, PLLC. Previously she served as half-time Director of the Psychological Services Center at Illinois State University and half-time Training Director of the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium, one of the largest APA accredited programs in the country. She began her career as a middle school language arts and communications teacher. After acquiring a master's degree in counseling from Purdue University, she worked in therapeutic foster care before returning to graduate school to study the relationship between attachment organization, emotion regulation, and social-information processing. Having served as a school psychologist and an outpatient therapist, she is currently providing systems-consultation to communities engaging in collaborative and innovative solutions to children's mental health needs. Her interests include relationship-oriented and empowering interventions for children and families, children's mental health/educational equity, and exploring avenues by which research and practice can influence public policy.

Traci Callandrillo, Ph.D. Dr. Traci Callandrillo is a licensed psychologist, leadership development coach, and speaker, with more than 25 years as a leader of service delivery teams. She worked in higher education healthcare and administration, led many content-driven and strategic initiatives, and facilitated major interdepartmental reorganization efforts at multiple institutions. Traci was a founding member and chair of the Higher Education Mental Health Alliance and has served in several professional organizational leadership roles, including the Vice President for Professional Practice for the Society of Counseling Psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas, and her dissertation focused on the role of self-efficacy for women in demanding careers. She is certified as a coach through the International Coaching Federation. Dr. Callandrillo is the owner of the Callandrillo Consulting Group, working with leaders in healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit organizations to help managers build strong teams that engage together through her model of Responsive Leadership.
Vanessa Downing, Ph.D., PCC Vanessa Downing, PhD, PCC, is a licensed psychologist and executive coach. The early years of her career were spent as a cardiovascular psychologist working at patients’ bedsides as part of high performing multidisciplinary teams. These experiences sparked an enduring passion for the well-being of physicians, healthcare workers, and those who lead during times of change, crisis, and even trauma. In 2017, Dr. Downing co-founded one of the nation's first hospital-based centers dedicated to systemwide interventions and wellbeing services tailored for healthcare workers. Her role as Director of the Center for WorkLife Wellbeing emphasized leadership development and organizational implementation of empirically-validated well-being practices. In 2021, Dr. Downing founded Congruence Coaching & Consultation to expand her work developing the agency and potential of organizational leaders across multiple industries. She has since worked with leaders and executives in healthcare systems across the country, small business owners and start-ups based locally and internationally, and innovators and educators in academia, the media, and beyond.
Sarah Early, Psy.D. Sarah Early, PsyD has served as the Executive Director of Colorado Physician Health Program (CPHP) since 2002. CPHP is a non-profit, independent peer assistance organization whose mission is to promote the health and well-being of physicians and physician assistants through evaluation, treatment referral, support, education and research. Dr. Early is responsible for the administration and management of corporate and program operations. She is proud to be contributing to CPHP’s work because healthy doctors give better care! Dr. Early is a member of the American Psychological Association, Federation of State Physician Health Programs, and the Society of Psychologists in Leadership. Dazzle Africa is the non-profit charity about which Dr. Early is most passionate. She is a co-founder and Board Director, whose mission is to partner with locally based organizations in Zambia to provide effective programs in education, conservation, and community development. She enjoys sharing the beauty and magic of Africa by hosting philanthropic safaris for Dazzle Africa.
